"Like a Cat" was dedicated to Peachy. The picture that accompanies his poem is a drawing of him.
In May of 2005 he was hit by a car and died. His brother Rusty is alive and well.
I loved Peachy the way people love their children and I miss him very, very much!
Here is my personal message to all drivers: "Slow Down!"
Alla Davidson’s original poems and drawings create a fascinating passage into the world of human visions, affections and paradoxes. Written in the best traditions of Russian poetry, yet with their own unique rhythm and melody, the verses overflow with a distinctive sensibility that will leave you spellbound. Abstract, fantasy-like drawings accompany every poem, creating a deeper impression of all that is said.
Davidson’s viewpoint is unparallel in the western world, influenced by a mindset and perspective of distant culture. Embrace emotionally moves the reader as it reveals the complexity of the human experience.
